The story
Daisy Geyser erupts at an angle, to 75 feet, for three to five minutes, and the park says the spot where you watch it is also a good view of the whole Upper Geyser Basin.
Daisy is usually predictable, with intervals of 120 to 210 minutes; the park's 2020 table put the average at two hours and forty five minutes, give or take thirty, and longer if it is windy. The exception comes when nearby Splendid Geyser, which is not predicted, erupts: then Daisy's timing cannot be predicted. It is a reminder that geysers here do not always act alone, and a contrast with Old Faithful, whose regularity the park puts partly down to having no known connection with other features.
Daisy sits a short way off the paved trail between Morning Glory Pool and the Old Faithful Inn. The park's backcountry report names the Daisy Trail as the way to use while the Biscuit Basin trailhead is closed.
